Advent treat box

One more post for today...I created this advent calendar for my kiddos but in doing so I also made it into a class at my local scrapbook store.   I promised a group of ladies that I would post instructions on my blog so that could finish the project.  I can not do that today as we are not at home and I don't have the instructions finished yet, but I promise they will done by next week and I'll post them then.  The theme this week at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge us make a gift.   Just a few quick instructions for those of you who want to get a jump start on making one for yourself.  The drawers measure 2"x2".  The drawer pulls are Christmas tree brads threaded onto an eyelet, with the blunt part of the eyelet next to the drawer, like this:

I used Cosmo Cricket Christmas paper from last year.  The Christmas trees are cut out with my Cricut.

Thanks for stopping by!  My family is breathing down my neck as they want to go look for more moose and play in the snow so I better get moving!

Snow Friends

Sorry I didn't post this yesterday.  We are on a mini vacation and we were travelling yesterday.  Snow friends is a good theme for me this weekend.   We are in Grand Lake, Colorado right now and we are currently in a snow storm!  There is already about a foot and half of snow and it is still coming down.  The Colorado River is rushing by right out our front door, a beautiful site.  We saw a big bull moose yesterday.  Anyway, the theme over at One Stop Craft Challenge is Snow friends!  Here is my card:
The designer paper is from TPC Studio.  I used the new liquid applique pen for the snow and fluff.  My image is Snowy with Snowflake from Magnolia.

Gingerbread girl

Hi everyone!! I just love gingerbread!  And this hAnglar makes such a cute gingerbread girl, don't ya think?  If anyone has a really good recipe for gingerbread, please share it with us.  E-mail me scrapadoodle2@yahoo.com and I'll share it on my blog.  You never know, with Christmas just around the corner, I may feel generous and send you a surprise!

Today at Sunday Sketch and Stamp Marie has an awesome sketch for us to follow.  Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:
I embossed the circle with an embossing folder and sanded the top to reveal the white core.  The trees are cut from the Camp Out cartridge from Cricut.  The candycane is from the new Magnolia Merry Little Christmas Collection and the Gingerbread girl is a hAnglar.  I added liquid applique to the frosted parts of the gingerbread to make them look more like frosting.

Candy Cane Christmas

It's Thursday and it's time for another challenge at Cute Card Thursday.  This week's challenge is "Anything Goes".  So kick off your shoes, ink up those stamps and have a great time crafting!!

This week I chose to do an acetate card.  I stamped my image and cut it out, the image is the only thing that is on the front of the card, besides the flowers and a bit of bling.  My designer paper is in the inside of the card along with my sentiment.  It is a very simple card but I really like the way it turned out.

Thankful for you...

I just love this stamp!!  It so reminds me of Josh and Katie.  Josh is very lovey and always wants to give hugs and Katie is just the opposite so this image is very fitting!!

This week at 7 Kids Challenge Blog it was Julie's turn, she has asked that we make a "thank you" card since Thanksgiving was so close (in the states anyway).  This adorable image is called Sister and Brother, it is currently out of stock but I'm sure it will be in stock real soon!  They are stamped on Neenah Super Smooth paper and stamp with Memento Black Ink.  I used copic sketch markers to color with.  The designer paper was from my stash, sorry I can't remember who it was from.  The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.
Hope you get lots of hugs today!!
