A Basket Full of Flowers For You.

OK, here is my second post for the day.  Our theme at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge is "Anything But Square!"  For this weeks challenge you will create a card that has a different non-traditional shape!  There are A LOT of prizes this week so you are not going to want to miss this one!  Head on over to the blog to take a look.

For my non-square card I chose to do a basket card.  I cut it out with my cricut (seems to be my best friend lately!)  I used the "Blooms" Lite cartridge from Walmart.

Here is a side view, you can see where I attached the handle to create the card.  The Tilda that I used is from the new So Special Collection.

Tiny Dancer

Happy second day of January!!  Today I cheated a little bit (shhh, don't tell anyone!)  I made one card for two challenges...smile:)  First of all, our challenge at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge we have a photo inspiration, here is the photo:

Isn't it just gorgeous!  I just love the colors and all of the flounsy material.

Next, we have an awesome sketch from Claire for Sunday Sketch and Stamp, here is the sketch:

And here is my card, finally...I had a lot of fun with this sketch and I ended up using lots of fancy lace and tulle and pearls.  I used stickles on the tulle to create sparkles.

snow baby

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a glorious Christmas and Santa brought everything you wanted.  Usually by this time of year we have had quite a few snow storms and lots of snow.  Not so this year.  The mountains have received their fair share but we haven't had any!  I want snow!  The east coast also has had a lot of snow also, a lot of friends has sent me pictures showing me the snow, I'm so jealous!  Anyway, the theme at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge is "Snow Much Fun".  Create a card or project that has snow on it.

I used Tilda in Christmas Coat for my image.  The snow under her feet is a new "Snow Maker" pen that I found at my local scrapbook store.  It is like a paint marker and I really like the way it works.  The only problem with it is that when you prime it the "ink" blobs out.  The cool looking snowfakes are from K and Company.  The snow border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Sparkly Winter Scene

I used Fairy Sweet Jolinne from My Favorite Things.  I used my Cricut to cut the trees and Wild Orchid Crafts for flowers.

Walking in a Tilda Wonderland

Happy Sunday!!  The theme this week at Stamtacular Sunday Challenge is Blue Blue Christmas.  Since blue is my favorite color, this was a piece of cake for me!  I created a stair step card to display all of the wintry Tildas, Tilda with Fir Tree, Snowy Hug and I can't remember the name of the other Tilda (I did a quick search and couldn't find it, sorry).

The large Snowflakes were cut with the Winter Lace cartridge from Cricut.

The evergreen trees (Smooth Fir from the Merry Little Christmas Magnolia collection) were stamped with versamark, then embossed with irredescent embossing powder and then I cut them out.

Birthday cake

Happy Sunday!!  Today I have two posts for you, the first one is for our Stamptacular Sunday Challenge.  This week's theme is "Hide and Seek".  We want you to create a card or project where the sentiment/words are hidden at first glance.  I decided I would make a cake...a paper one, of course, and make it a fun one by creating little surprises to find.  (I'll post a tutorial on how to make the cake soon.)  Here is my hide and seek project for your viewing pleasure....

I have used three different Magnolia stamps, Bon Voyage Tilda is on the top of the cake, Spring Tilda is on the right.  They are stamped on Neenah Super Smooth paper and stamp with Memento Black Ink.  I used copic sketch markers and Distress Inks.  A list of the ones I used is at the bottom of this post.   I embellished the flowers with Diamond Stickles.

I'm not sure where the designer papers came from, they did not have any markings on them.  Flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I absolutely LOVE these flowers.  The best thing about them is when I add stickles to them, they do not bleed.  I got that awesome green vine from our local scrapbook store, Simple Pleasures Stamps. 

Here is a view of the "hide and seek" sentiment from on top of the cake.

Here is the cake opened up to reveal all the hidden treasures.  I attached the gift card to the back of the sentiment with removable double-sided tape.  It also makes it nice and sturdy for the topper.

Wow, I can't believe Halloween is a week away!  Where the heck did October go?  Today at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge we have an awesome color challenge for you!  It doesn't have to have a Halloween theme, we want you to use lime green, orange, purple and white!  (and black, if you want to).  This week's sponsor is ROBYN’S FETISH, the winner will get to choose 5 Digital products.

I thought this awesome hAnglar bat boy went perfectly with the designer papers (from K & Company).  My cardstock is from CTMH, one thing that I absolutely LOVE about their cardstock is that is has a white core.  I embossed my lime green and orange paper and used sand paper to distress it and pull out the highlights.
