Family

Today I have the glorious honor of being guest designer at Crafting Life's Pieces.  I just love their sketches, they are always so detailed and fabulous!  Here is the sketch that we followed:

And here is my card!  If you haven't guessed by now, I just LOVE the hÄnglar & stÄnglar images.  These two remind me of my own Josh and Katie, brother and sister.  I just love watching them interact together, they really love each other and big brother always stands up for his little sister.  The bond between them is really growing, it's such a wonderful thing to experience!
I stamped my images on Neenah Super Smooth paper and stamp with Memento Black Ink.  I masked the girl onto the flowerpot and used pop dots to pop him off of the page.

I used copic sketch markers.   Designer paper is from Basic Grey Cappella.  The heart charm is from Making Memories and the butterfly is from JoAnn's jewelry section.
Thanks for dropping by!

Pumpkins and Witches

Hi everyone!!  Boy, I have really been in a Halloween mood lately.  This week at
One Stop Craft Challenge we are asking for "Anything but a Card!"  I hope you get inspired to make something other than a card and join us this week at OSCC.   My plan was to make a haunted house and attaching Tilda to it, but it kind of evolved into this cute basket.  I used two different patterned papers to weave the basket.   I am going to use the basket to put some candy in and give it as a Halloween surprise to someone....not sure who yet, maybe Josh's teacher.

The images I used are Witch Tilda and Pumpkins and Pumpkin and Leaves.  The sentiment on the back is a Magnolia also.  They are stamped on Neenah Super Smooth paper and stamp with Memento Black Ink.

Designer paper is from Basic Grey and SU.  I used an EK Success punch for the border and the handle.  I picked up the cool looking sprig from Michaels the other day and the blingy leaves are from JoAnns.

Here is the list of copic sketch markers that I used: Y23, YR01, Y38, YR0000, E53, Y21, BG93, G12, G82, YR02, E30, E21, E44, E00, W1, W3, W7

Gift Bag - The Pixie Cottage

Good Morning everyone!!  This week at The Pixie Cottage the theme is "Anything But A Card" so I decided to make a gift bag.  The stamp is from their stamp of the month and it's a digi stamp.  This is the first time I used a digi stamp.  I'm not really sure what it is but I just can't seem to get into the digi era!!  Whether it be scrapbooking or card making, I really like the hands on nature of it all.  Not that I don't like the way this turned out, I'd just rather have a rubber stamp in my hands!!

Here is the nitty gritty...The desginer paper that I used is from Creative Memories.  My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border of the bag and for my handle.  The cute little charm is from Making Memories.  Of course, I used copic sketch markers.  Here is a list of what I used: RV29, BG93, E42,YR31, E53,G21,E44, E00, E33, Y21.

Tree-Mendous!!

Hi everyone!  Good to see you today!  This week's challenge at Cute Card Thursday is called Tree-mendous!  We want you to use a tree in your creation.

Lady Tilda is masked onto Magnolia's Oak Tree, then I paper toiled (is that a word??) another Lady Tilda image on top of the original image.  I stamped both Lady Tilda and the tree onto Neenah Super Smooth paper and stamp with Memento Black Ink.  I used copic sketch markers to color with:  BG93, E53, E42, E50, R01, E44, Y23, W3, ROOO, E51, Y21, E42, E21, G82, BV23, BV20, BV31, BV0000, W1, R12, E57, E43, E53, R11.  The tree and Tilda and both mounted onto CTMH cardstock and my inside sentiment is from SU.  The tree has some bling on it but you can't tell in the picture.  My camera broke at the last minute so my pictures are not as good as they should be, sorry!!

I have also entered this card into the Totally Tilda challenge, which calls for a shaped card.
Thanks for stopping by, make it a great day!

Summer Fun, One Stop Craft Challenge!!

Hi everyone!!  Well, sadly we are nearing the end of summer.  Josh has already gone back to school!!  Thankfully our neighborhood pool is still open!  I made this little sign to hang while we are swimming.  I made the matching little frame to go with it.  I picked up a wooden frame from Michaels and covered it with desginer paper (from my stash).
I used Beach Tilda on both projects.  They are stamped on Neenah Super Smooth paper and stamp with Memento Black Ink.  I used copic sketch markers to color with.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and ribbon is from SU

The adorable (I just may be a little bias) little sweetie in the picture is Katie.
