Today I will be
sharing my project that was featured on the Scor-pal
blog as part of this week's Scor-pal
and Really Reasonable Ribbon blog week. Of course, if you missed this
project or any of the other great projects from the Scor-pal team you'll want
to hop on over there and see what's been going on this week. Be sure
to leave comments on each post from this week for a chance to win some great
prizes. Entry deadline in 8am Monday, July 16, so there's still time.
Now, onto my project.
I have created this great k-cup purse. I saw this amazing dixie up holder in an ad and just had to create one to carry k-cups!
Here is how I started:
First I wove my Really Reasonable Ribbon, I used the 3/8" Twill Assorted ribbon as the base for my weave. I started it on a piece of cardstock that was 4" x 6" and adhered Scor-Tape to the sides to give it some stability:
Next I created the cup holder. I used a piece of cardstock cut 6 3/4" x 5 1/4". Line up the 5 1/4" part of the cardstock with the top fence of your Scor-Pal. Score are 1 1/4" and 4". Next, using a cutting system, (I used Creative Memories), cut three circles (I used the #5 circle with the blue blade cut inside).
Score a piece of 12" x 6 3/4" at 4 1/2" and 6 1/2". Attach the cup holder to the card stock as shown
Decorate your purse and attach a button to close.
Thanks for stopping by today! I had so much fun showing my project, I hope you will make one for yourself!
