Paper Bag Photo Album

Today I will be
sharing my project that was featured on the Scor-pal
blog as part of this week's Scor-pal
and Doodlebug's Blog week. Of course, if you missed this
project or any of the other great projects from the Scor-pal team you'll want
to hop on over there and see what's been going on this week. Be sure
to leave comments on each post from this week for a chance to win some great
prizes. Entry deadline in 8am Monday, July 16, so there's still time.

Now, onto my project.

I chose to make an adorable Scrapbook Album.  I started with two white paper lunch bugs and scored them in the middle.  Make sure that you alternate the top and bottom so that you have a variety of pages.

Next  fold them into a book then take your Crop-a-dile and punched three holes on the edge to create a binding on your book.  I used eyelets to give it more stability.  I used coordinating baker's twine from Doodlebug to create colorful accents.

Now decorate the pages and have fun!

My Honey page slips into one of tops of the bags.

The ladybug page is also a slip in page.

Scor-pal and their designers are excited to announce that they are teaming up with Doodlebug for a fun and inspiring week on both the Scor-pal blog and the Doodlebug Blog. The other Scor-pal designers and I have some exciting projects to share. Here's just a peek at what I have created for the event.

Be sure and check out both company blogs starting today, July 8th, and continuing throughout the week to not only find out how to make this project and many more. Don't forget to check back each day and leave comments for a chance to win some great prizes.

It's going to be an exciting week!  So be sure to stop by!

Scor-Pal And Really Reasonable Ribbon

Today I will be
sharing my project that was featured on the Scor-pal
blog as part of this week's Scor-pal
and Really Reasonable Ribbon blog week.

I have created this great k-cup purse.  I saw this amazing dixie up holder in an ad and just had to create one to carry k-cups!

Here is how I started:

First I wove my Really Reasonable Ribbon, I used the 3/8" Twill Assorted ribbon as the base for my weave.  I started it on a piece of cardstock that was 4" x 6" and adhered Scor-Tape to the sides to give it some stability:

Next I created the cup holder.  I used a piece of cardstock cut 6 3/4" x  5 1/4".  Line up the 5 1/4" part of the cardstock with the top fence of your Scor-Pal.  Score are 1 1/4" and  4".  Next, using a cutting system, (I used Creative Memories), cut three circles (I used the #5 circle with the blue blade cut inside).

Score a piece of 12" x 6 3/4" at 4 1/2" and 6 1/2".  Attach the cup holder to the card stock as shown

Decorate your purse and attach a button to close.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I had so much fun showing my project, I hope you will make one for yourself!
