Authentique & Scor-Pal Blog Hop!!

Today Scor-Pal is hopping along with Authentique.  I have to say that I love this combination!!

I made a cute little box that will hold a variety of little things!

The flowers are felt that I cut with my Pro Big Shot.

A peek at the inside, the four little boxes fold on top of one another to create the gift box.

I hope you have fun hopping along!  Be sure to leave lots of comments because we will be drawing for prizes!

Here is your hop list:

Scor-Pal & Jillibean Soup blog hop!

Hello everyone!!  I'm so glad you stopped by today!  Today there is a wonderful winterful blog hop happening between Scor-Pal and Jillibean Soup!  Check out all of the details on the Scor-Pal Blog!  Then start hopping!

I made this cute little gift holder for my project.  I started with Tilda in a Stocking and colored her with Distress Inks.  Of course, the designer paper is from Jillibean Soup.  The die behind Tilda is a gorgeous snowflake from Memory Box, I absolutely LOVE these dies!  I used flowers from Wild Orchid Craft to cover up part of the box.  The big stocking die is from Stampin Up!
I also used the scallop punch from Stampin Up! behind my sentiment.

Here is a side view

For the box I used a piece of red cardstock 7" x 4 1/4", score 1" on both sides of the 7", then turn your paper and score at 3" and 4".  On the long side of the paper score at 1/2" about 2" down, repeat on all sides. See below:

Next, cut the flaps at 3" and 4" up to the 1" score mark.

Adhere with Scor-Tape as shown below:

Pinch your box at the top to create folds as shown.  Attach your decorated stockings to each side of the gift box.

Hope you enjoy our hop!

Skating Tilda

Hello everyone!  We are in the middle of a snow storm and having very cold weather right now, so this card is perfect for today's forcast!  Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love snow.  The crispness, how it makes everything look so clean (until it starts melting) snow is just so beautiful!

I chose the number 25 for my card (Christmas Day) for today's challenge at Cute Card Thursday.  I just love Skating Tilda, she looks so graceful.  I colored my image with copic markers and cut her out and used pop dots on top of an embossed snowflake oval.  The fab papers are from BoBunny along with the medallion.  I used an awesome die from Memory Box, it is so detailed and festive.  I just love their dies!  I added a few sparkles to the snow border to give it bling and shine.

I'm glad you stopped by today, hope to see you back soon!

Green and Grey challenge - CCT

I am late posting my challenge card for Cute Card Thursday but better late than never!  The challenge was to make a card using green and grey.  So I used these gorgeous papers from Stampin Up!  I am not a Stampin Up! consultant but my friend Lisa can help you find anything you may need from Stampin Up!

I used Tilda with Cookies for my image.  I just love her, isn't she the cutest!  I colored her with Distress Inks.  The beautiful holly leaves are from Sizzix, it came as a die and embossing sleeve combo.

Thanks for stopping by!

Scor-Pal November Challenge

Happy November!  OK, I know I'm a little late!  Today is the day for our monthly challenge at Scor-Pal.  This months theme is "Thankful", it can be a thank you card, thank you gift or anything you create that you are thankful for!

I chose to make this awesome CD holder for my sister because she has been she takes care of our parents in Michigan and I live in Colorado.  She works so hard and takes such good care of them, they have both had a lot of medical issues lately and I feel so guilty not being there!  The CD has pictures of my kids on it for her.  I used this TUTORIAL from Scor-Pal.  It was super simple to make and I think it makes such a great gift!

Recipe:
Stampin Up! paper and sentiment
Bazzill cardstock

Tools:
Scor-Pal
Cuttlebug embossing folder
straight edge trimmer

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you got some inspiration to make some gifts today!

Good morning everyone!  Welcome to the Scor-pal/Little Darlings blog hop! Today we are featuring some fun projects using the Scor-pal/Scor-buddy along with the newly released Fall/Halloween Little Darlings stamps. If you came here from Myrna's blog, then you are in the right spot. If not, you will want to start from the beginning at the Scor-pal blog so you don't miss any of today's projects. There will be some Little Darlings stamps given away by Love to Stamp and Scor-pal will be giving away a Scor-buddy to one person randomly chosen from all comments left. The more comments you leave the better your chances of winning. You can also increase your chances of winning a Scor-buddy in other ways as well so check out the Scor-pal blog for complete details.

My husband has started a nasty habit of smoking cigar which I am not fond of at all!  But on the up side he gives me the empty cigar boxes to decorate!  That is what my project is made from today!

I used Tim Holtz hardward for the legs and my designer paper is from Fancy Pants Oct. 31.  The little spiders are from Jolee and the large metal spider is actually a pin you where on your shirt and is from Michaels.  I sanded the cigar box and wiped it with Black Soot Distress Ink.  The spider web skirt is from a Martha Stewart punch.

The image is called "Tricks or Treats" and is available at Love to Stamp.

I love this particular cigar box because it had cool partitions in the inside.

To make the large rosette on the cover I used a piece of 2" x 12" piece of designer paper and punch it with a Martha Stewart punch.  Score every 1/2", turn it over line it up on the 1/4" mark and score again every 1/2".  Fold back and forth and attach the end together with Scor-Tape to create a cirlce.

For the ribbon I used Stampin Up! black grosgrain ribbon, I liked it because it was a little stiffer then regular ribbon.  Score every 1/2".
Place a piece of Scor-Tape on the back and fold to create tabs.  I used six tabs on each side and a loop of ribbon for the middle.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have lots of fun hopping and good luck!

Your next stop is the fabulous Mindy. She has an awesome project waiting for you!!

Pumpkin Treat Card

Good Fall Morning everyone!  Today I have a great fall project to share with you.  I have posted a tutorial for it HERE.  On the Scor-Pal blog we are doing a cross-promotion with Glue Arts so we had to use both products on our card.  Of course, I used my Scor-Pal and then I used Glue Arts foam sheet to complete my project.  I was really easy to work with!

Here is a look at the inside.  It holds a delicious Ghiradelli chocolate (Thanks Lisa M!)

A side view.  I used the Heartswirl Doohickey die from Magnolia for the tendrils.

Thanks for stopping by today, I had a great time visiting with you!

I chose to make a box that hold 3" x 3" cards.  The tutorial for the box is HERE.  I made a selection of 3" x 3" cards to go inside, all similar to the one shown.  I just love this paper, I beleive it was Heide Grace and I have to say that it goes absolutely perfect with the stamps!  The stamp set is Birds of a Feather from Unity Stamps.  It really is a great set and includes 7 stamps!  I colored the cute little birdies with copic markers.

Here is a quick view of the back, so you can see how darn cute the paper is!

Your next stop is the Scor-Pal Blog!  I hope you have a great time hopping and good luck!!

A NEW CHALLENGE!! Scor-Pal September Designer Challenge!

Hi everyone!  I am super excited to introduce a brand new monthly challenge!  The Scor-Pal Blog is starting a new monthly challenge this month.  This month's theme is "Out of the Box", basically we want you to make a project with your Scor-Pal that is a box.  I chose to make a mini chest of drawers with Halloween Mini Magnolia's

MAGGIE'S HALLOWEEN TRIO!

The height of the chest of drawers is 6", each drawer is 2" x 2".  On the top I created a stair step to attach my images to.  I used Mini Edwin Mummy, Mini Bat Tilda and Mini Witch Tilda with Pumpkins.  I colored them with my copics.  Here are a few more views:

The bling and bats (drawer pulls) are from Michaels Recollection collection.  I tore a piece of gauze and dyed it black to use as my "ribbon".

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to make a box and enter it into our challenge!

Wedding Card - CCT

Hi everyone!  Today is Thursday and that means it's time for another challenge at Cute Card Thursday.  This week's theme is "Wedding".  Perfect!!  I have a wedding that I am going to in September!  When we lived in West Virginia we had such dear neighbors and I can hardly believe it but their oldest is getting married.  I'm so excited to go back to the old "hood" and see everyone.

I used my most favorite couple image from Magnolia and colored them with Distress Inks.  The paper is from Magonolia also.  I am not sure what kind of fold this is, I just kind of played around with it and this is what I came up with.  I just love these butterflies from Martha Stewart, they are so elegant and soft.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a wonderful day!

And here is the prize from The Twinery

A great assortment of baker's twine!

Here's my project!  I used the The Garden Cart project from The Project Center over at Scor-pal.  I used baker's twine from The Twinery in a few different colors to wrap my flowers and umbrella with.  My designer paper is from My Mind's Eye, Stella Rose and the yellow was scraps that I had.  The stems and umbrella arm are made from bamboo skewers, it made it really easy to position them on the cart!  I punched the flowers using the scalloped punch from Stamp up!  Oh!  and those awesome buttons were from JoAnns.  I had so much fun making this project, you should give it a try!
