Baby Boy Blue

Hi everyone!!  It's Cute Card Thursday time!  I recently went to a baby shower (I just LOVE baby showers) and I made this card for the mommy to be.

I used copics to color this cute little hAnglar baby boy.  I used my new Cricut cartridge to cut the die and my new Magnolia dies for the branch.  Designer paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle.  There new baby paper is just the cutest!

I'm glad you stopped by!!  Have a wonderful day!

Fairy Tilda

Hi everyone!!  Today is Thursday so it's time for another challenge at Cute Card Thursday.  This week we want to see your creations that feature some distressing. Whether you want to distress with inks or papers using a distressing tool, or even using Distress Inks to colour your image...the choice is yours.

I distressed my paper and also used Distress Inks to color my image.
The gorgeous designer paper is from the new line at Stampin Up!  I got to order it through a special promotion they were having and I just LOVE the patterns on this paper.  I used Prima flowers and Wild Orchid Craft flowers.

Distress Inks used:  Stormy Sky, Bundled Sage, Milled Lavendar, Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Aged Mahogany, Antique Linen.

Thanks for stopping by!

Fairy World

Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing with you my submission to the Magnolia Ink Magazine Spring Contest...Make Your Craziest Fantasy.  I chose to embellishment this adorable paper cottage that I got from Hobby Lobby.  I also went crazy in the miniature isle there and got a bunch of miniatures for my scene.  I just love the china tea cups and wooden little table.  I made the mushrooms out of red and clear beads and painted spots on them.  I used my Cricut to cut the trees and fence.

Images I used:  Alva with Flower, Sittle Alva, Big Mushroom, Fairy Tilda, Fantasy Flower, Ladybug and Snail.  I covered the roof with moss and used tiny tiles from Michaels for the chimney.  I used Flowersoft for the grass.  I also added lots of bling and sparkles.  I found some miniature wooden flower pots and filled them with Wild Orchid Crafts rosebuds.

Hope your enjoyed my entry, there certainly is a lot to see!

CCT - Chocolate!

Good day everyone!!  Chocolate....well a lot can be said about chocolate.  For me, it is probably the biggest comfort food.  Chocolate cake, chocolate sauce, chocolate covered strawberries...I LOVE them all!!  Chocolate is the theme at Cute Card Thursday this week.  It can be the image or embellishments or the colour scheme....your choice!

I chose to do a chocolate color theme.  Browns are so much fun to work with!  I haven't used this adorable hAnglar image in a very long time so it as time to dig her out!  I colored her with Distress Inks.  I finally broke down and bought some hot press watercolor paper and I really like using it.  It is much smoother than cold press.

Thanks for stopping by today!
