Dreaming of Summer Days

Hi everyone!!  Happy Friday and Royal Wedding Day!!  I don't live in England but I have always loved watching the royal weddings on TV!  I've always been a big Prince William fan so today is a big day for me!

Well...onto today's card.  This one is for Cute Card Thursday.  We are trying something a little different for sketch week. Instead of providing you with a new sketch we want to you either re-use one of our previous sketches, or you can use one from another challenge blog (just be sure to mention where it is from so we can check it out), or even make one of your own (but make sure you share it with us).

I re-used one of my old sketch but mixed it up a bit.  Here is the one I used:

And my card.....
I used distress inks to color my images.  I used Tilda with Cherries and Jar of Honey (but I made it into yummy cherry jam!!).  I also used the Cherry Magnolia Doo-Hickey.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp 2nd Birthday!

Hi everyone!  Sunday Sketch and Stamp is celebrating it's second birthday!!  Pop on over to the blog to check out the great prizes they have lined up for you!  Keep reading there even may be a little something something for me at the end.

I made this card for my bff's daughter's birthday, which is next week, I just need to get it in the mail now :)

I went a little simple with this one because I thought the designer papers really gave it the umph it needed.  I used Congratulations Tilda (mainly because that is the one my bff wanted!, LOL!!) and I colored her with copics.

Now, leave a comment on this blog entry for a chance to win a surprise package from me!!  I will choose a winner next Sunday by Random.org.  Oh...and before I forget...my birthday is February 24th.

Thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly Dreams

It's time for Cute Card Thursday!  This week we want to see your projects that include NO text!  Easy Peasy!!

This was the first time that I watercolored with distress inks!  So please be honest and let me know what you think.  I think I need to soften the colors a little, my colors seem a bit intense.  Oh! and the hydrenga flower was homemade!  I used a Marvy punch and half of a stryofoam ball to create it.  I'm really happy with the way it came out and will definately be making more of those!

Thanks for stopping by!  It's so great to "see" you again!

Easter egg

Once again I'm late posting my card for Sunday Sketch and Stamp, sorry about that!!  I thought this sketch was great for making an egg shape for the image so that is what I did!  I used Tilda holding egg basket, Mini chicks, Mini eggs and Mini spring tree to create my scene.

Designer paper is Bo Bunny and American Craft.  Flowers are Wild Orchid Craft.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

A wonderful day for a bike ride!

Hello everyone!  I'm a bit late with my card...but here it is!  This card is for Cute Card Thursday.  This week's theme is:  Whatever the weather....we want to see your cards inspired by it.  I chose to do a beautiful spring day that is perfect for a bike ride.

I used a cute little hAnglar image riding a bike!  Designer paper is from American Craft.  My card isn't as frilly as I usually make them but I really like the simplicity of it.

Thanks for stopping by!  See ya soon!
